The Lifebuoy pool safety alarm operates on replaceable non-rechargeable batteries with a model of ER 9V 1200mAh Lithium. Depending on usage, the batteries can last up to 3 years.

Lifebuoy introduces a smart feature called Swim Mode, which, when activated, prevents the alarm from sounding off to allow for swimming. In the absence of movement for 10 minutes, the system will automatically reactivate. In the event of a fall into the pool, a siren will sound off to alert users.

The Lifebuoy system is suitable for pools up to 20 ft X 40 ft in size, and for larger pools, multiple Lifebuoy systems can be used simultaneously.
