Pool Patrol PA-30 Pool Alarm Description

The Pool Patrol PA-30 Pool Alarm is designed as an additional security measure to protect your loved ones. It is important to note that the Pool Patrol Alarm is not a replacement for other safety measures such as adult supervision, lifeguards, fences, pool covers, etc. Please be aware that the Pool Patrol Alarm may not detect gradual entries into the pool.

Features of the PA-30 Pool Alarm include a transmitter and receiver system. The transmitter will alert you at the pool of any intrusions, while the receiver, located nearby, will also receive the signal. The PA-30 is compliant with ASTM F-2208-08(2019) standards.

Contents of the PA-30 Pool Alarm include a floating alarm (transmitter), receiver with power supply, string kit with two black plastic hooks, and important instructions for use. It is crucial to note that turning off the alarm in your pool will not deactivate the receiver alarm inside your house, and vice versa.

To adjust the sensitivity of the Pool Patrol Alarm, gently turn the black flotation base clockwise or counterclockwise. Moving the float from its sensitive position may no longer meet ASTM requirements, so it is recommended to carefully adjust the sensitivity by making small quarter-turn adjustments and testing the alarm after each change.

For troubleshooting, refer to the guide provided. If the pool alarm is not working, check the battery, clean the sensing post if necessary, or contact Posthaste Electronics for service. Placement recommendations for the pool alarm vary depending on pool size, with one or multiple alarms suggested for pools larger than 20x40 ft.

The receiver for the Pool Patrol Alarm allows you to monitor your pool from inside your house. It has two transmission modes - SN mode and ID mode - and should be placed near a window or wood door within 200 feet from the transmitter for optimal signal reception.
